On Wednesday, April 25, 2018, our class will be visiting the National Music Centre for an all day field trip. In order to go, we require 4 parent volunteers! If you have CBE clearance and can join us, please email me at sllaslo@cbe.ab.ca. National Music Centre requires us to maintain a 1 adult to 5 students ratio. We have no volunteers yet.

A.M.A. (Ask Me About)- Today we read Akilak's Adventure by Deborah Kigjugalik Webster. Akilak goes on an adventure with her friend, Caribou, where they talk about what animal Akilak would turn into if she could. What prairie animal would I turn into if I could? Why did I choose that animal?
- We were challenges to build our names out of base ten blocks (tens and ones). How do I feel about this challenge? What letters were easy to build? Which ones were challenging? How much is my name worth? What names can I draw base ten blocks for at home to calculate?
