During our butterfly release, many students noticed (and were worried) that a bird would eat our butterflies! Today, students learned more about the food chain and how each animal has a part in the food chain!

We focused on three new words - herbivore, carnivore, omnivore! Ask me what they mean and what is an example of each!
Here are pictures to support your conversation at home.

To support this learning, we also started a new wall story! We still have to illustrate it, but read it together here below!

Today we compared different types of boats. We talked about what made them similar and what made them different. We also learned the names they use to tell directions when you are on a boat. Ask me if I can remember the where the port, bow, starboard and stern are.

We worked with a partner gathering information on two different insects. We are working together to read and organize what we have learned into a chart in our GoogleDrive. Ask me what insect we started to learn about, and what I've learned about it so far!
